Dear Penpal is a children's book exploring the lives of young people in twelve different countries around the world. Each child has a double-page spread with a letter, written by them to the next child in the book, discussing their home, family and culture and a detailed illustration of a street scene from their location. Below are two examples from the first two children in the book, Lukas and Aziz. The first six illustrations are also below depicting France, India, Italy (Venice), Japan, Switzerland and Morocco.

Original dimensions of the artwork are 62cm x 48cm. The entire series was exhibited in December 2007 at Edinburgh College of Art as part of the Masters Show.
