In my family I was generally referred to as the child with a book forever stuck in front of her face. When I wasn’t reading I was doodling, and when I wasn’t doodling I was daydreaming. After a few interesting twists and turns in the road (including a swiftly passing urge to become a lawyer), I eventually had these talents formally recognised as a BA(Hons) Illustration and a Masters in Design from Edinburgh College of Art and became an illustrator and writer.
I work from my studio on the edge of the beautiful South Downs with my two small and ridiculous dogs, Roo and Bella, for company. If you can’t find us there then we’re probably out exploring the countryside, queueing at the Post Office or gossiping with the neighbours.
